XDURO HardNine Carbon RX –Haibike is one of the first players in the ePerformance market to use carbon frames. Here we can leverage our extensive experience in building conventional frames, some of which were ridden by top athletes who won titles as well as an Olympic silver medal.

Every part of an XDURO frame is a Carbon monocoque part, laminated seamlessly by hand in a one-piece-design. In order to profit from the tensile strength the carbon fibres are aligned parallel to the later direction of force (unidirectional laminate). As a result, the frames can take a high degree of strain while still being exceptionally light: 2,790g (full suspension) and 1,950g (hard tail).

The motor i screwed directly into the frame with no need for an adapter. In our development process, we deliberately eschewed metal cores in the interface and instead designed the  carbon parts in such a way as to cleanly distribute the forces along the frame. This reduces the size and weight, while increasing stability and precision at the same time.

We are the world´s first manufacturer to use the step-in-battery concept to integrate the standard Bosch battery in a way that has significant visual and functional advantages.
